Industrial Solvent Free Epoxy Floor Coating Britdura 750.
1,100 square metres completed in a single phase of four days to be ready in time for Westbury to complete their relocation.
The old worn, undulating and painted concrete floor.
Remedial work between coats included filing of holes, machine footprints, smoothing uneven patches and trip hazards.
The preparation and installation were project managed entirely by Elgood to meet the Westbury’s deadline for moving in.
A cost effective approach to improving the appearance of the concrete and a surface finish which would be hard wearing and functional.
We lay our coatings by scratch trowel means that the Britdura 750 can be a lower cost alternative to a 1.5 – 2 mm self smoothing flooring. The trowel application ensures that a measured quantity and thickness is applied unlike a conventional roller only application. Westbury chose Slate Grey.
Vacuum contained shotblasting and diamond grinding were used to prepare the concrete.
